CCBR Newsflash #8 - 23.5.07

Newsflash – 22nd May 2007

Dear Supporters,

Anvil Hill - June 2/3
The NSW Government is on the verge of approving over 15 new coal mines!!! The impact of the coal extracted and exported from these mines will be enormous and unacceptable. We urge any of you that can, to join us and attend the making of a human sign at the site of the proposed Anvil Hill mine on Sunday, June 3rd. Greenpeace is organising buses from Town Hall on the day or you can camp overnight on that w/e. This is set to have a real impact on the future of coal in this state, so come on.... if you do nothing else to avert climate change this year - this is the one to put your hand up for.........
