Meeting with MP Verity Firth
Dear supporters,
Next Tuesday - July 5, 2007. CCBR will be meeting with Verity Firth, The Minister Assisting the Minister for Climate Change (Environment).
We are inviting you to come along with us to discuss the following:
1. A NSW State ratification of the Kyoto Protocol.
2. Setting targets of a 30% reduction in Green House Gases by 2020.
3. Setting targets to increase Renewable Energy Sources to 25% by 2020.
4. Our response to the approval of the Anvil Hill coal mine and the percieved lack of leadership demonstrated on the issue of Climate Change.
Please join us. A peaceful representation from us empowers Verity to inform her party that Climate Change is a major concern in her electorate. We, her constituents, are seeking strong leadership and understand what is at stake.
