Newsflash - Anvil Hill - June 22, 2007
As you all know, the Iemma government has given the go-ahead to the massive Anvil Hill coal mine, creating 27 million additional tonnes of climate changing CO2 each year.
The State Labor Government is closely watching the level of public outrage and backlash to this decision. That is why we are urging you to attend this public meeting at Marrickville Town Hall this Sunday to show that communities throughout NSW are worried about climate change and want real action to stop it.
So please come along to this emergency public meeting to help stop the Anvil Hill coal mine and put the brakes on dangerous climate change.
